Slutty brownies are triple-layered bars made of chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreo cookies and brownie dough layered on top of each other! Sounds like a delicious threesome? Well, it sure is.

No time to waste, let's get to it 😉

Episode 6.

"Yoni" is Sanskrit for "origin", "source" or "sacred space" and refers to the vagina, your lotus flower ... or whatever you want to call your female centre of energy. "Yoni" is also a Hebrew name deriving from "Yonatan" or "Yonathan" and means "gift of God" or "given from God". Fitting, right?

I love this series where I talk about all the things that nobody really talks about much in public, such as tongue scraping, oil pulling, or menstrual cups. Today I'm tackling another "taboo" topic: the vagina.

Now before you start back in a panic I want to clarify that a yoni egg or "love egg" is not a sex toy, but a therapeutic healing tool (although I don't think that sex toys, porn and other sexual topics should be condemned either). It is a stone carved into an egg shape and smooth polished to be worn inside the vagina for many reasons – mainly for sexual health and healing as well as to re-awaken sensibility and re-connect with your own sexuality and divine feminine energy. The crystal eggs are often used as a holistic, natural, and energetic/spiritual alternative to conventional Kegel balls (for pelvic floor exercises) that are often laden with chemicals, resins, dyes, plasticizers, etc. A pleasant side effect – but not the purpose of a yoni egg by any means! – is a stronger, more loving connection with your partner as well as a deeper, more fulfilling love life.

In this blog post I want to show you all the wonderful benefits of using a yoni egg – and how to use it.

Hello loves,
Valentine's day is coming up, and you've probably heard me talk about my opinion on "V Day" more than enough – personally, I don't celebrate Valentine's in the "traditional" way (going out to eat a fancy dinner, exchanging red roses or gifts with your significant other, stuffing your face with a chocolate fondue, and whatnot). Instead, I cherish February 14th as a time to blanket myself in love. A date with myself, if you will.

A fitting quote I want to share with you today is this one by Oscar Wilde:
»To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance.«
After all, if we don't love ourselves in the first place, how are we going to extend this love to others around us? Or in the words of my mum: "Before you go and marry anyone, go marry yourself first!"
There is a great TEDx Talk by Tracy McMillan from 2014 that went viral, talking about The person you really need to marry (spoiler: it's you!). It's a wonderful talk, please listen to it!

I'm not an enlightened wise-owl human, but let me tell you: There is no man, no woman, no house, no car, no job that will make you happy and complete. Now that doesn't mean that there's no value in being in a relationship, being married, having your dream house, a career... not at all! But it does mean that once you embrace and celebrate and love yourself with all your curves, edges, kinks and quirks, your happiness and wholeness is no longer dependant on those things!

With that said, I am very glad that I got the chance to get "engaged" to myself (just in my head and in my heart) before my boyfriend / now-fiancé J proposed to me.

More on that below...

You guys,

I've got some big news! No I'm not pregnant, but ! I did become a mommy – of two guinea pig girls! 🙂 (And in fact I'm also engaged as of last weekend 😱 if you look real close, you can actually spot the ring in the picture above! but that's another story...)

Let me introduce you to G I N N Y and L U N A!

So when I was a child I used to have guinea pigs as well, two boys that both lived for 8 years and had a fabulous life with loads of fresh grass and running around in our garden :) They eventually died ten years ago, and ever since I wanted to have guinea pigs myself when I was older.

Now I'm older and I live in a house with a big garden, and for the past year or so I kept bugging my boyfriend about getting guinea pigs – it actually turned into some kind of a running gag between the two of us. Funny enough, the universe got ahead of me (or answered my wishes), and in November 2018 the two guinea pigs of a friend's sister lost their home because she couldn't keep them any longer. They were temporarily taken in by our friend, however he couldn't keep them long-term either, and so my boyfriend and I were thrilled to adopt them.

Ginny and Luna* have now been living with us for quite a while now, and each week they have become more and more trusting, adventurous and comfortable at home :) But now enough talking from me – I'll hand over to the piggies!

*We might need to adopt an Hermione and possibly a Lily or a little Dobby as well ;)

Hello lovey!
These heart shaped lotion bars don't just look adorable, they also have an aphrodisiac effect due to the added essential oils. When it comes to intoxicating scents, vanilla is at the top of the list, along with rose, the ancient symbol of love, and lavender, which not only helps relax the mind, but also stimulates your senses, too.

In other words, these nourishing lotion bars are not only great for moisturizing your skin and relaxing your muscles, but also to spark desire and set the mood for a romantic evening :)
